23, 2008 - The Quantico Black History Month Dinner
The Black History Month (BHM) Committee is a volunteer
organization whose sole purpose is to plan, organize
and execute positive events in recognition of
Black History Month. The BHM Committee is comprised
of volunteers from the Northern Virginia area
which supports the Quantico Marine Base's celebration
of Black History Month. Each year we host several
cultural events in an effort to Commemorate, Celebrate
and Educate the community on accomplishments of
African Americans. Our events are done in a warm
and inviting atmosphere and enjoys the attendance
of guests from all different ethnic groups. Our
four events are the Annual Prayer Breakfast, Chapel
Service, Theater Presentation and the Formal Dinner.
Each event is open to the public. For more information

The 3rd Annual RV & Camping Expo is set to
go at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference

Three-day event that showcases all facets of the

8-9 - Greenberg’s Train and Toy Show
Greenberg's Train & Toy Show is designed to
be the premiere marketplace oriented train show.
The show travels around the northeast, from Pittsburgh
to Virginia Beach to Rochester to Boston. The
shows feature large train and toy marketplaces,
operating layouts and displays, workshops and
demonstrations. The show offers free admission
for children and hopes to encourage model railroading
and toy train collecting.

Corps Historic Half Marathon & Healthy Lifestyle
Expo
It won't take long to fill up the 5,000 spots
allotted for next spring's inaugural Marines Corps
Historic Half Marathon in Fredericksburg. Registration
for the May 18 event began November 1. Interested

A variety of activities are planned in conjunction
